This is what happened

MSE and Milsimevent.com are not “frozen” by the lawsuit and Oklahoma Invasion 7 is not cancelled. MSE was successful in being granted a Temporary Restraining Order in Tulsa County District Court Case CJ-2012-1013 by the Honorable Judge Jefferson D. Sellers. This action was necessary to protect MSE and its reputation and rights to design and promote Oklahoma Invasion 7 in a manner consistent with previous MSE events, in particular the previous award winning Oklahoma Invasion series.

On or around February 3, 2012 my access to the forum was restricted or deleted. I have not had full access to the Forum to post anything since late December when the website and Forum experienced a "virus" attack. The decision to file a lawsuit was forced upon me to protect my integrity and interests, to protect MSE and Oklahoma Invasion. It was a decision made with thoughtful deliberation. When I learned the true nature of what was happening I was shocked and dismayed. Unfortunately, MSE assets, contact and mailing list and the primary means of communication with past participants were usurped without our knowledge or permission and without lawful right to do so.

The Oklahoma Invasion 7 event has been in the advance planning stages since the conclusion of Oklahoma Invasion 6. Many of you have been planning to attend since that time. Unfortunately, like us, many of you had no idea what was occurring behind the scenes. Neither I nor anyone remaining at MSE have any control or access to the registration fees which were paid by all of you, we never have. Again, we have no control over that situation but hope they are promptly returned to you all.

The Temporary Restraining Order entered on March 13, 2012 by Tulsa County District Judge Jefferson Sellers does not freeze the assets of MSE, this website or the Forum or Oklahoma Invasion. It instead restrains Defendants and their affiliates and associates from operating the website or Forum and returns them to Kelly S. McCoy (“CLAYMORE”). Defendants are further restrained from disposing of any property which is the subject of claim by MSE or holding themselves out as associated with, connected to, approved by, sponsored by, or otherwise affiliated with MSE or Oklahoma Invasion. The Defendants are restrained from using MSE or Oklahoma Invasion in any of their advertising or promotional materials. The allegations in the case as well as the TRO are a matter of public record and can be found on the Court's website www.oscn.net.

There is no longer a "broken arrow" scenario here at MSE. We are addressing the attempts to seize MSE, the disruption to the website, forum and Oklahoma Invasion 7. We are resolute and committed to Oklahoma Invasion 7 and to our participants and the milsim community. I am working to restore full functionality to the website and Forum. The process for identifying what happened has started. The disruption was not caused by the TRO or the lawsuit. My access to the website and Forum were just recently restored. I am also recovering from getting my business, email, YouTube and facebook accounts seized, disabled or redirected. I will get the event information and the technical difficulties resolved as quickly as possible. I would hope that you would bear with me in that regard as I have always worked for the community to support and better it and provide fun and innovative events.

In the end, it pains me to see a community that I worked hard for buy into innuendo, hype, bravado and deception. Divided we are weak and assuming that what you hear is in fact reality is blind allegiance. The way this “Palace Coup” happened was not only “not cool” but it brings dishonor to the milsim community. This is indeed a sad moment for me and milsim as a whole, division has done just that…Divided.

We will continue to pursue protection of MSE and to see that justice is served to those that operate beyond the law. We are committed to providing you high quality, award winning milsim events as we have in the past with the Oklahoma Invasion series. We have regained control of MSE and Oklahoma Invasion 7 will be held. Details to follow.
